My prints are photographicaly reproduced on Kodak Supra Endura Professional Photographic Paper. I personally prefer photographic prints to the giclee (" giclee" is a marketing label for " inkjet" ) prints currently available. The photographic process is time proven to last for decades. While time accelartion tests show the giclee prints to potentially out last photographs, there are a lot of variables that can compromise the integrity of the giclee prints. I have over 10 years of digital printing experience using some of the same equipment currently being used to produce giclee prints and I am more confident putting my name on a photographic reproduction.
I use only museum quality materials when matting and framing my work. This means the boards, adhesives and packaging used are acid free and will not harm the artwork. I use Conservation Glass for framing which protects against harmful UV rays emitted by the sun and flourescent lighting. It is always advisable to display your artwork out of direct sunlight. It is also recommended to use glass cleaners which do not contain ammonia when cleaning the glass.
I sell only matted prints because if you choose to frame your purchase the matting keeps the glass from touching and damaging the print over time. My matted prints are sized to fit industry standard frames commonly available for your convenience.
When moving or carrying a framed piece of art it is always best to carry it by the wire hanger or support the frame at the bottom. Avoid picking up a frame by the top edge whenever possible as this puts stress where the corners where the frame is fastened together.
